THE VIBRACUSSOR® INSTRUMENT

VibraCussor® percussive therapy is an exciting new treatment approach for muscle and ligament problems and related myofascial conditions.

The VibraCussor® instrument delivers waves of percussive impulses deep into the tissues of the body. The VibraCussor® has a 12-speed switch with a range from 8 cps to 52 cps. The calibrated speeds enable a practitioner to easily return to preferred frequencies for specific protocols.

The VibraCussor® instrument weighs just 3 pounds. The weight of the instrument itself is often sufficient to transmit the necessary percussive forces in to the tissues. The VibraCussor® has an ergonomically designed hand-sling that allows a practitioner to guide the instrument from area to area using just a light grip. This helps eliminate fatigue that normally occurs when an instrument is gripped tightly over long periods of time.

VibraCussor® therapy is very effective for releasing muscles. The VibraCussor® compression waves promote an increase in circulation and lymphatic flow and a decrease in muscle spasm. The VibraCussor® can be used to 'warm-up' muscles and set proper tonus prior to athletic events. The VibraCussor® instrument can also be used following an event, or exercising, to 'flush' muscles and minimize soreness.

The repetitive pumping action of the VibraCussor® is ideal for releasing joints. The power of multiple percussive waves accumulates to loosen up 'stuck' areas without using heavy thrusting forces. Additionally, these waves heighten neurological awareness of specific areas of  the body and facilitate energetic normalization.

The standard VibraCussor® kit contains an assortment of interchangeable heads and tips which range from a 2 1/4" diameter flat foam cushion down to a dull point. Optional rollers are also available. This allows a practitioner to tailor the treatment head to best match the specific areas being addressed.
